Staying with that IT Project Manager example, a candidate’s personal skills are important as a grounding for how they conduct themselves within any project, team, delivery stream or similar IT environment. Our assessment includes a variety of real-life scenarios which cover a diverse area of those skills; versality, cooperativeness, cultural awareness, discipline and integrity.
That candidate’s professional skills support the command and structure they provide to deliver IT projects. The assessment includes a number of situations and scenarios where the effectiveness of those skills is put to the test, through; communications, diversification, industry knowledge, leadership, management and the individuals professionalism.
The above two sections are fairly standard across functions. It is the candidate’s practical skills are where the core of their IT project management experience is showcased. This area is much more extensive as we drill into what makes them shine in their function. In Project Management the real-life scenarios assessed are around the delivery stream, including; integration management, scope management, schedule management, cost management, quality management, resource management, communications management, risk management, procurement management, stakeholder management and their knowledge of project management tools.
